    Terms of Service

    Effective July 17, 2026

This is a general template, not legal advice — review it with a lawyer before relying on it for compliance in your jurisdiction.

    1. Acceptance of terms

By using Colleague (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

    2. What Colleague is

Colleague is a free set of calculators for students — including GPA, final grade, required final score, credits to graduate, student loans, and study time. It's an informational tool, not academic, financial, or professional advice.

    3. Use the results as estimates

    • Grading scales, credit systems, and loan terms vary between schools and lenders. Always confirm important numbers with your registrar, academic advisor, or lender.
    • GPA results use a standard unweighted 4.0 scale, and loan results assume a fixed rate with no missed payments — your institution's or lender's actual method may differ.
    • Don't rely on any result for enrollment, graduation, or financial decisions without independently verifying it.

    4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, reverse-engineer it for malicious purposes, or use it in violation of applicable law.

    5. Advertising

Colleague may display advertising to keep the Service free. Ads and any linked destinations are the responsibility of the advertiser; we don't endorse them, and your dealings with advertisers are between you and them.

    6. Intellectual property

The Colleague name, logo, illustrations, and site design belong to Colleague. You're welcome to use the calculators for personal or academic reference; please don't copy or redistribute the branding or design as your own.

    7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate.

    8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colleague is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including decisions made based on a calculator's result.

    9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
